Corsa dei Ceri in Gubbio | mid May
It takes place every year on May 15th, anticipating the celebration of Sant'Ubaldo. I Ceri are three tall and heavy wooden artifacts which carry the statue of Sant'Ubaldo (protector of the builders), of San Giorgio (protector of the merchants) and od Sant'Antonio Abate (protector of the donkey breeders and the farmers). They are carried over the shoulders running through the village until they reach the Basilica of Sant'Ubaldo on the peak of Mount Ingino by the Ceraioli.

Special events and gatherings are held throughout Umbria during Easter, with many participants. Assisi hosts many celebrations in the month of May, from the first Thursday to the Saturday following the 1st of May, a medieval feast with musicians and singers of love songs through the village to celebrate the youth of San Francesco.
Flower Festival of Corpus Domini in Spello
In the village of Spello is the tradition to cover the roads with flowers the day of Corpus Domini. It is a unique event in Spello renowned worldwide. The locals work for months to render this event as spectacular as possible which only lasts a few hours. The beautiful setting commences at the crack of dawn on Sunday and it dissolves once the religious procession is over.
